Dr. Lambourn qualified with BDS from the London Hospital Dental School in Whitechapel in 1996 and after vocational and general professional training, returned to The London as a House Officer and later Senior House Officer in the Restorative Dentistry and Oral Medicine Departments.

His postgraduate training was at The Eastman Dental Hospital on a part-time basis whilst working as a private practitioner between 2000 and 2003. He passed Master of Science in Clinical Dentistry with distinction followed by the MRDRCS in 2004. After becoming an accredited Specialist, he worked as a Clinical Lecturer at The Eastman Dental Hospital.

From 2006, he worked for twelve years in a specialist private practice in Suffolk, England and as an Expert Witness for dento-legal cases. During this time, he returned to the London Hospital, initially as a Clinical Lecturer and later as a Senior Clinical Lecturer overseeing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

He has been an examiner for the International Qualifying Examination and the Overseas Registration Examination of the General Dental Council, UK. Currently, he is an Examiner for the LDSRCS (England) and an examiner and Question Bank Manager for the MRD in Prosthodontics for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

He moved to Peninsula Dental School, University of Plymouth in March 2018, where he is the Clinical Lead of the Truro (Cornwall) Dental Education Facility and joint Programme Lead for the 4th year BDS programme.

His major interests are care pathway planning, prosthodontics, and tooth surface loss.

Dr. George Cherukara

Dr. Cherukara is a clinical-academic and a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics.  As the Associate Director at the Institute of Dentistry, University of Aberdeen, he leads the BDS Clinical Sciences theme and contributes to postgraduate training (MSc),  including a higher research degree (PhD).  As the academic clinical lead, he has an interest in Human Factors in Patient Safety which led to the creation of the Scottish Dental Schools Network to promote Human Factors Teaching in Dentistry. 

Outside the University, he contributes to the work of the Dental Schools Council (UK), NHS Education for Scotland, Board for Academic Dentistry (Scotland), Scottish Oral Health Research Collaboration and Scottish Dental Education Online.  He is an external examiner for the University of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.  His research interests spread across the spectrum of Restorative Dentistry with particular emphasis on clinical quality outcomes, oral-systemic health link and technology enabled teaching and learning in dentistry.  George maintains specialist private practices in London and Aberdeen.

Dr. Raj Dubal

Consultant in Restorative Dentistry, Barts & The London Dental Hospital,

Raj qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001. Following completion of a number of training posts early in his career in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff University Hospital, he gained substantial experience in general practice.

Following this, he gained a position at the prestigious Barts and The London Hospital Dental Institute and embarked on a three-year mono-specialty training programme in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, which he completed, with distinction, in 2008.

Following a number of years as an Associate Specialist in Prosthodontics at Barts and The London Dental Hospital and in private practice, he gained a position on a five-year specialty training programme in Restorative Dentistry at the renowned St George’s and King’s Dental Hospitals in London and completed his training in November 2018. He was subsequently appointed as a substantive Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Barts and The London Dental Hospital, where he is clinically responsible for the care of head and neck cancer patients as well as those patients who require complex multi-specialty care.

He is on the General Dental Council specialist lists in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

He has a strong clinical interest in endodontics, tooth wear and implant-retained oral rehabilitation. He has a strong commitment to education delivery and is the Lead for Dental Core Training at The Royal London Hospital, and examines both nationally and internationally at post-graduate and specialist level for both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.

Dr. Udayakumara Denagama

Dr. Udayakumara graduated in dentistry in 1998. He worked in the Ministry of Health as a dental surgeon for many years before embarking on his training to be a specialist in Restorative Dentistry. Having passed MD in Restorative Dentistry in 2017, he became a visiting staff member at the Dublin University Dental Hospital, Trinity College,  Ireland  in 2019. This enabled him to undergo advanced training in Restorative Dentistry. He returned to Sri Lanka in September 2020 and obtained Board certification as a specialist in Restorative Dentistry. He is a life member of the Sri Lanka Dental Association and the Sri Lanka Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. His special interest is Maxillo-facial Prosthodontics.
