Regional sessions 2018-Jaffna
Jaffna Regioal Sessions was held in collaboration with SLDA Northern Branch on 27th & 28th October 2018. The Inauguration ceremony was held on 27th October at Hotel Nelly, Vavuniya. The Chief Guest Dr. Chandana Gajanayake, DDG(DS) and Dr. T Sathyamoorthy, Director Teaching Hospital, Jaffna was the Guest of Honour.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. P Sathiyakumar on “Diagnosis in Orthodontic Treatment”.
It was attended by over 90 dental surgeons including Dr. Gamini Navaratne, President, Dr. A Sundar, President Elect, Dr. N Mugunthan, Assistant Treasurer representing the SLDA.
The Scientific Sessions which consisted with two guest lectures and two workshops was held on 28th October 2018, at Hotel Nelly, Vavuniya. A dental trade exhibition too was held with participation of Six dental companies from Colombo.
18th - 22nd May 2021 - Virtual Conference
The SLDA office has become a Wi-Fi enabled zone. Any member could utilize the privilege of internet access free of charge by bringing their own laptops to the SLDA office and connecting to the net.
