Work shop on Medical Audit

Foreign Placement Coordinating Centre (FPCC) is established to facilitate coordination of overseas placements for local doctors. To enhance the employability of Sri Lankan doctors, FPCC in collaboration with Medical Education Development and Research Center (MEDARC), Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo organized certificate courses in disciplines that may add value to us.

Our first work shop will be on Medical Audit. Medical audit is seen as one approach to improving the quality of patient care. Ability to conduct a medical audit successfully and previous experience in audits is a highly valued possession when considering applicability of local doctors to foreign placement.

Date : 7th December, 2008 from 8.30am to 3.00pm

Venue : Surgery lecture hall, National Hospital Sri Lanka.

Registration fee - Rs 500 /-.

It will be on two days with reviews of workshops conducted by the participant on the second day. A certificate will be awarded on the second day.
